Advanced treatments administered by an acne specialist offer incredible benefits when used together with your Clinical Facial treatments and your 4-step Skin Care Program. As your treatment advances and your skin is prepared more advanced modalities can be used to help address skin rejuvenation, scarring & hyperpigmentation.
Chemical Peels
Chemical peels don't really peel the skin, despite what the name implies. They rapidly exfoliate the skin, allowing dead skin cells to shed more effectively. By keeping dead skin cells and excess oil from clogging the hair follicle, pore blockages and pimples can be drastically reduced.
During a light to medium chemical peel treatment, the skin is exfoliated using an alpha or beta hydroxy acid. Done in a series, these peels can improve mild to moderately severe cases of acne, and can be given over the face or other body area where acne is a problem. Light chemical peels are also used to soften the look of fine lines and wrinkles, even out skin texture and fade discolorations.
Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion regenerates and revitalizes your skin in a gentle, non-invasive manner and is often the first step in skin rejuvenation when combined with other treatments.
Microdermabrasion is a safe and effective non-surgical treatment that removes superficially damaged skin. Mildly abrasive, microdermabrasion is used to treat minor acne scars, blackheads, enlarged pores, and pigmentation problems. Treatments stimulate new cell growth and boosts collagen production improving the quality, texture and pigmentation of the skin.

Clinical Facials
The Clinical Facial is an advanced treatment used at our acne treatment clinic. It used the most progressive protocols, technologies, and medical grade products. Although individual treatments vary depending on the client’s skin type and condition, each treatment involves a protocol of cleansing and skin analysis, exfoliation, correction, and protection that is customized by an acne specialist.
It typically takes about six treatments over a three-month period of time to get you mostly to completely clear; significant results will be seen within six weeks. After your acne is under control, you will have to maintain your home-care regimen to keep your acne managed.
